About

Hi! I enjoy frequenting the baking aisle of the grocery store and thinking about what life might have been like for fifteenth-century Castilian nuns. I’m currently based in a tiny, no-counter-space apartment kitchen; my PDFs live in a series of unorganized folders on my five-year-old laptop. I used to research a beautiful monastery that gave out rations of bran bread and wine to its townspeople in times of famine. I post streams of consciousness followed by abrupt transitions to entirely irrelevant recipes. All the food here is plant-based and taste-tested by me only, because we’re in a pandemic! and because my houseplant kiddos don’t eat human food.
